CHILDREN’S FILM ‘VERY GOOD 10/10’ TO BE LAUNCHED

heatreperson Yashwant Sirdeshpande will begin work on children’s film ‘Very Good 10/10’ in April based on his own story. The film will be produced by Ramanath Kotiyan from Moodabidre who is settled in Mumbai. V Manohar will be composing the music.  

Yashwant Sirdeshpande told reporters that the film is about what parents do to see that their children 10/10 along with good remarks. He said the film will have incidents that will touch people’s hearts in what he called the film as a small children’s big film. He said he has embarked on a training camp for children from April 17 to May 20 in the age group of 6 years to 12 years at Yellapura’s Sneha School. He said after the camp, actors will be selected for the film. He said around 120 children have enrolled themselves for the summer camp. Yogaraj Bhat will be participating in the camp, he said.  

The director said the film will have 70 scenes and children will be the mainstay of the film. Children will be charged a nominal fee for the training camp and if a producer comes forward it could become free of cost.  

Manohar will be composing three songs. Child singers Abhinav Bhat and Baby Aditi besides artistes from Drama Juniors will be singing for the movie. 

The film script which is in English will be translated into Kannada and the film will be dubbed into Hindi and English, the producer said. The film has been planned for a release in August.
