E BANNA LOKADALI’ TRAVAILS AND TRIBULATIONS OF ARTISTS
R
anga Creations in the first venture ‘Ee Banna Lokadali’ has set the stage for release on 5th of April. The trials and tribulations of the artists is told in humor touch by director V Rama Rao Putane for his story, screenplay and dialogues.

Like how the bitter pill is coated with sugar to consume for patients, the same way the humor runs eighty percent in the film but twenty percent is reality of the artists of this field.

Coming to the promotion of his film veteran actor Ramesh Bhat disclosed that this film has no big stars but has essence of what should be given in it. Off late cinemas are made for subsidy tucked in CD or DVD. This is not that kind of cinema.  According to Ramesh Bhat this film would get different kind of opening. The theatre persons adding to the film is a welcome step he says. It has some morals and I play the teacher of theatre plays says Ramesh Bhat.

Rama Rao Putaane says this ‘EBL’ is a festival of laugh. The real colors how the artists cover up to give laughter is told effectively in this film. Majority are theatre actors. The scope is also there for ‘Eunuch’ in this film. How they are looked at in our society is discussed says Putaane.

This is quite a different cinema according to talented character artists Ramesh Pandit. Kachit Vamshi a stage actor in this film has given a peck to actress Rekha Das. He has taken eight attempts to give a peck to Rekha Das.

Producer Narasimha Murthy of 64 years making a film with his 35 years long friend Rama Rao Putaane says his intention is to give a happy experience for the audience. This film has 85 percent of laugh he assures.

E BANNA LOKADALI’ AUDIO RELEASED
R
anga Creations maiden venture for silver screen ‘Real to Reel’ – E Banna Lokadali audio was released at a crowded gathering on Thursday evening at Green House in Gandhinagar Bangalore.

A film on the life of ‘Gandhinagar’ – hub of film activities – ‘E Banna Lokadali’ is produced by Narasimha Murthy. All the songs for this film are written by him. The songs are not just fed for this film. This is a complete family entertainer. The songs get a lift when appropriate music is fed. That is what music director Dinesh has done.

Director Rama Rao Putani thanked producer and said he proved that he is a literary personality by writing all the songs. It comes in the good flow of the screenplay. Whatever necessary is only added and one of the songs I wrote in the midnight remembered director Rama Rao Putani.

The humble supporting actor with an accomplished career in cinema Ramesh Bhat in fact explained all about the cinema. There are many ‘No’ in this film – there is no hero, heroine, action, vulgarity, grandeur etc. It is ‘Sarala Sundara Hasya’ cinema. I got a feel that I am so small when I worked for this film. There are terrific performers in this film. There was discipline. It is taught by theatre. The film is not in cinematic presentation. I felt that this would be a successful one. One scene with Veena Sundar both collected tears. It was very natural. Ramesh Bhat made the right PR work for his film ‘E Banna Lokadali’.

The reason behind taking newcomers to the roles are because of the strong theatre background of this film maker opined Suresh. There is no exaggeration in the film pointed Suresh.

The right person among the cinema journalists Ganesh Kasargod was invited to release the audio of the film. He has penned several columns on the ills and present life of actors of the past. Ganesh Kasargod wished good luck to the producer and director for the good thought of helping the needy from the proceeds of this film.

Colleague R Manohar birthday was celebrated before the audio launch of the film at Green House Raj Milan, Ramehs Bhat, KN Nageshkumar, RG Vijayasarathy, Ganesh Kasargod, Yethiraj, Snehapriya Nagaraj joined the cake cutting celebration on the occasion of R Manohar birthday.
