YENENDU HESARIDALI’ RELEASING ON FEB 10
‘Yenendu Hesaridali’ will release on Feb 10 across Karnataka. Jack Manju is distributing the film. The film team went on a pre-release promotion tour to Kalburgi and Tumakuru and was happy with the response to the roadshow. The film is produced by Srinivas Kulkarni and Shruti Kulkarni.

The film is directed by Ravi Basappanadoddi. The film is co-produced by Madhu Kulkarni, Bharathi Gunnalli and Anusha Kulkarni. Surendranath B R has scored the music and Poornesh Sagara has penned the story and screenplay. Manjunath Nayak is the cameraman. The film stars Arjun, Roja, Chitkala Biradar and Sunetra Pandit among others. Senior journalist Jogi has penned the dialogues.

The team celebrated the birthday of its director Ravi on Saturday and mentioned that the producer also celebrated his birthday recently. Arjun said the film’s release and a good run for the movie will be a perfect gift for the producer and director.

The Prema Pidita song has clocked more than 16 lakh views on Youtube and has gone viral on the Net. There are a few other songs in the movie that have also clocked more than three lakh views on the Net. The film is a woman-oriented subject and is a musical love story.

The film has two stories, according to the director and it revolves around three people. Director Ravi says music plays a vital role in taking the story forward. The film has six songs.

Arjun says the first half is a love story and the second half takes a turn. Roja says she plays a homely girl who is caught between her love for her mother and her lover. Chitkala Biradar plays the mother in a prominent role who faces challenges in her family in raising her children and also contributing to the family.

Milind Gunaji plays a key role in the film and Sunetra Pandit is also in the cast.

YENENDU HESARIDALI’ GETS ‘U’ CERTIFICATE, READIES FOR FEB RELEASE
‘Yenendu Hesaridali’ has got a ‘U’ certificate from the censors and is readying for a release some time in February. The film is produced by Shruti Kulkarni and Srinivas Kulkarni while it is directed by Ravi Basappanadoddi. The film is co-produced by Madhu Kulkarni, Bharathi Gunnalli and Anusha Kulkarni. Producer Srinivas Kulkarni said he wanted to produce family oriented film with good songs in it. He said the Prema Pidita song had clocked 16 lakh views and had gone viral on the Internet. He said there were other songs too that clocked two lakh to three lakh views on the Net. Shruti Kulkarni said she never felt like a newcomer while producing the movie as everything went off smoothly. She said the film is a woman-oriented subject and is a musical love story. Jack Manju is distributing the film.

Director Ravi Basappanadoddi said the film has two stories and it revolves around three people. He said it is a love story and music plays a vital role in taking the story forward.

Music composer Surendranath said producers had good taste in bringing on board all renowned lyricists to work for them. He said the film has six songs all of them being situational. He said the film has songs that are cut to take the story forward.

Arjun said the first half is a love story and the second half is more challenging with more scenes with the heroine’s mother. He said there was a lot of scope for performance for him as an actor in the movie.

Roja said she was initially confused about what she should accept. She said Yenendu Hesaridali is a film in which she never gets portrayed as a heroine. She said she plays a homely girl and is in between her mother and her lover. She said the film is a paisa vasool for the audiences.

Chitkala Biradar who also doubled up as an executive producer said she plays a mother in the film in a prominent role. She said her role talks about the challenges that a woman faces after marriage and in bringing up children as a mother besides contributing to the family. She said there is a shadow of Puttanna Kanagal’s stamp of film-making style. She said this is also one of Sanket Kashi’s last films before his untimely demise. Milind Gunaji is also seen in a special role.

Sunetra Pandit said experimental films are being encouraged by Kannada cine-goers and this is yet another experimental fare. She said she plays a peculiar character which is comical as she smatters Kannada and English together in what she calls it as a comical whiff of relief in the movie.

YENENDU HESARIDALI AUDIO RELEASED

he audio of the film Yenendu Hesaridali which is based on relationship between mother, daughter and lover was released at a function in Bengaluru. The film is directed by Ravi Basappanadoddi and produced by Srinivasa Kulkarni.

Director Basappanadoddi said he had been directing serials for the last 16 years and this was his directorial debut on big screen. He said the songs take the story forward and in fact tell the story. The film has been shot in Chikkamagaluru and Koppa.

The director said the film is a matured love story that talks about love, disappointment and is an emotional drama all put together.

Sagar Purnesh who has written the story said the film is about how a daughter has to choose between her lover and mother.

Surendranath has scored the music. Kaviraj has penned the songs. Lyricist Kaviraj said he had written 1500 songs but he said there was some confusion in his mind while writing the songs for this movie. He said the director could not come up with a title for the movie and added that it is left to the audience to give a title.

Chitkala Biradar who is a television actress said she was the link between the director and producer initially. She said she plays the heroine’s mother in the film which will bring tears to eyes of people as her character carries a lot of weight and emotion.

Roja who is playing the female lead said this was her third film and that the songs in the movie were the plus point.

Arjun of Akka serial fame said he is playing the lead in a film for the first time. He thanked everyone for the opportunity and said a middle-class artiste cannot survive in the industry without a godfather.

Lahari Velu said people of North Karnataka are innocent and added that if one is capable people will recognize the right ones.

Nagendra Prasad said it is difficult to give a title to the movie. He hoped that the movie will become successful.

Former commissioner of Police, Bengaluru, Raghavendra Auradkar, Achyuth Kumar and Ramadas Naidu came to wish the team good luck.

YENENDU HESARIDLI COMPLETES SHOOT

enendu Hesaridli, a love story and a family entertainer produced by husband and wife duo Srinivas Kulkarni and Shruti Kulkarni under the banner Sugar Cube Creations has completed its shoot and is eyeing a November release for the movie. The movie is directed by debutant Ravi Basappanadoddi who has directed Guptagamini and Putta Gowri Maduve among other daily television serials. The film is a message-oriented subject based on Purnesh Sagar’s story according to the producers. The film stars Arjun, Roja, Chitkala Biradar, Milind Gunaji, Sunethra Pandit, Umesh and Sanketh Kashi among others.

Director Ravi said he considers himself lucky that he got this break to direct this film. He said songs in the movie have been given equal importance as the story. He said Yenendu Hesaridli is a matured love story with the mother and daughter in focus. He said the film was shot in Mangaluru, Koppa and Chikkamagaluru among other locales. Manjunath Nayak is the cameraman. The film deals with the dilemma faced by a girl who has to decide between choosing her parents and her love.

Senior journalist Jogi who has written the dialogues said the film has done away with the stereotypes which is why he agreed to write for the movie. He said the film redefines relationships and is a kind of love triangle between mother, daughter and the lover.

Music composer Surendranath said he is scoring music in his second film which has six songs. He said a song has been picturised on late Sanketh Kashi who plays a major role in the film. He said almost all the songs are montage numbers.

Television actor Arjun of Akka fame whose real name is Yogesh Raj said he changed his name to Arjun as the serial gave him popularity in his new name and people recognized him as Arjun. He said he plays a bubbly character which was challenging. He said he shared frames with Kashi and is in love with the heroine in the movie.

Story writer Sagar spoke about the story.

Senior actor Umesh said he plays a small role with Chitkala Biradar. He said he enjoyed the treatment and love given to him by the team.

Chitkala Biradar said he plays the mother of the heroine Kaveri. She said her character gives a twist to the story as it has enough meat. She said the team is unlucky to have lost Kashi’s voice as he was supposed to dub for his portion before being hospitalized and after his treatment.

Sunethra Pandit said she plays Chitkala’s friend who has a peculiar and a crazy dress sense.

The heroine Roja could not attend the meet.
