LYRICIST KALYAN’S MAIDEN DIRECTORIAL FILM ‘WATCHMAN’ CENSORED

yricist K Kalyan’s maiden directorial film ‘Watchman’ has got a ‘U’ certificate from the censors without any cuts. The film is produced by Manoj Kumar A J and it has P K H Doss’s camerawork.

The film stars newcomers Kiran Raj, Sindhu Punya as rhe lead pair. Anant Nag is playing a key role in the film. Sundar Raj, Ramesh Bhat, Sudha Belawadi and Mandeep Rai among others are also in the cast. Ismail is the art director. The film is written and directed by love poet K Kalyan who has incidentally penned the lyrics and scored the music for the film.

According to Kalyan, the film is not just about a person but it is about the state of the mind. He said the film revolves around love, emotions and time and how man reacts to various situations.

Upendra has sung a song for the movie and Puneeth has sung another which has been picturised as a duet. S P Balasubrahmanyam has sung another happy number.

The film has been shot in locales of Bengaluru and its surroundings, Chikkamagaluru, Madikeri, Sullia, Mangaluru and Puttur.
