he official teaser trailer of the film Varthamana was released recently at a function. The film crew has released three different teasers keeping in mind different audiences. While a teaser for the Kannada audiences has been released, two other teasers with English and French sub-titles have been released for the international audiences.

The film is directed by Umesh Amshi and produced by Hemavathi and Manu. National award winner Sanchari Vijay is playing the lead role and Sanjana Prakash is playing his female counterpart.

Director Umesh Amshi said the film falls under a different genre that dwells on the human psychology. He said he didn’t narrate the story to Sanchari Vijay but the actor readily came on board. The team thanked the media for the support and encouragement in promoting the film.

Sanchari Vijay expressed the hope that the film has been done well and will appeal to the audiences. He said there is confusion in the mind of the protagonist and added that he is not aware of the film’s ending. He said the director went ahead with his conviction and shot what he wanted. Sanjana Prakash also expressed her confidence in the subject.

Saravana has scored the music for the film.

he shoot for Varthamana, a new Kannada film starring Sanchari Vijay, Sanjana Prakash, Vanishri and Sapna Raj is complete with post-production work in progress. The film is eyeing a release in the month of May. The film is directed by debutant Umesh Amshi and produced by Manu Billemane and Hemavathy Siga.

Director Umesh Amshi told reporters that the film is about what happens between yesterday and tomorrow which is the present. 'The director who has worked as an English lecturer for a few years before becoming a director said people think about the future and the main protagonist is confused about what he should do today and about what he has to do in the future. He said the hero is in a depression that and is confused what he should do and what he shouldn’t.

Umesh Amshi said the movie is about a young man living in Bengaluru who lives a life that is different from his ideologies and time seems to have taken control over his ideologies.

Sanchari Vijay said he had not seen the film besides his dubbing portion. He said the film is a suspense thriller and looked like a different genre to him.

Sanjana Prakash said she plays a simple girl next door who thinks about the present and is in love.

Vanishri plays the hero’s sister and Sapna Raj plays a psychiatrist in the movie.

Saravana has scored the music. Venkatachala is the cameraman. Surendra and Lokesh are the editors.
