VAJRAMUNI’S GRAND NEPHEW ARASU IN HIS THIRD FILM
K
annada cinema’s popular villain late Vajramuni did not want his three sons to enter cinema due to financial woes that the family faced after producing a film. But, that didn’t deter the popular villain’s grand nephew Arasu Vajramuni from trying his luck in cinema and in following his grand uncle’s footsteps.

Arasu Vajramuni is acting as a villain in Onti which is his third film. He is also working in two other Kannada films Parthasarathi and Raghuveera that are under production.  Arasu is armed with an ITI and a diploma in computer science before working with the theatre group Vesha Mathu Ranga Prahari that is run by Siddhi Prashant. Arasu has worked in lead roles and as a villain roles in some plays before film offers came his way.

Arasu Vajramuni, who is a six-footer said he enjoys the support of his family including Vajramuni’s sons. He said his grand uncle is an inspiration for him to get into films.

Vajramuni who was blessed with a unique resonant voice and histrionic talent as a villain on screen was an affable human being off-screen. He had acted in more than 300 films before breathing his last in 2006.
