ai Tulunad, a Tulu film has completed its shoot recently and the audio of the movie was released at Sthayi Digi Studio in Bengaluru on Wednesday. The trailer of the movie was also released and tow songs were screened for journalists.

The film is produced by Frank Fernandes, a Dubai-based businessman and co-produced by N G Shivanna and Rajasulochana Nandihalli. The film is directed by Praveen of Kadal Mage fame. The film stars Avinash Shetty, Sonal Monteiro, Shrey, Manmohan Rai and Naveen Patel among others. Rjaesh Ramanath has scored music for two songs and is scoring the background music while James has composed the remaining songs. Gauri Venkatesh is the cinematographer.

Producer Shivanna told reporters that after searching for many heroes Avinash Shetty was chosen. He welcomed all the guests.

Director Praveen said the film has been shot in Mangaluru, Bengaluru and Tumakuru. There are six fights in the movie. He said the movie is meant to prove that Mangaluru is not a hotbed forunderworld activities. The film has been made on a high budget running up to Rs 1.25 crore.

Music composer James said S P Balasubramanyam has sung the title song and director has written lyrics. The songs don’t sound like Tulu, he said.

Manmohan Rai said he is playing a villain in the filmand it was like working in a Kannada film.

Avinash Shetty who shot into limelight with Power said he has finished Badmash and is getting offers from Kannada cinema. He said although he was from Mangaluru the director wanted him to do a Tulu film which was his mother tongue. Avinash Shetty said he is seen in an action for the first time. He plays a cop who faces problems in the film, he said. He praised Rajesh Ramanath for the background music, he said adding that he wants to do Kannada films and live up to his expectations.

Shreya said she plays the hero’s sister who is a college-going girl and is paired opposite Naveen Patel.

Mythreyi Gowda and Swastik Shankar wished the team good luck.

Rajesh Ramanath said he entered the industry at an young age and that the media had encouraged him. The studio which he opened two years back has three editing rooms, three dubbing rooms and a music composing room besides a mixing stage. He said so far more than 75 films had been made in his studio at the post-production stage. He said the studio gives freedom to editor and has a package for other services.

Ramanath said the studio will soon install DI facility. Later, journalists were taken around the studio.
