MUSIC OF ‘TYSON’ RELEASED
S
a  Ra Govindu, president of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce released the audio CD of Vinod Prabhakar’s forthcoming film ‘Tyson’ at a function in Bengaluru on Tuesday night.

Govindu said he had been seeing Vinod Prabhakar grow and remembered Tiger Prabhakar. He lamented that quality Kannada films are not being made because of realtors entering the field. He said producers were selling off their plots to make films and then they are vanishing from the scene. He said such producers were making films to showcase their false prestige and to get cheap publicity without any prior experience.

Govindu said a screening committee had been formed to restrict the number of releases to two films a week but the committee had been disbanded due to lack of support. He urged the members of the producers association and new producers to join hands with the Film Chamber to save the industry and the producers from further decline.

Director Ramanarayan said a song had been shot in Malaysia and that technicians had worked hard in the making of the film. He said he will talk about the movie ahead of its release. Ramanarayan said he was happy that the film had been sold in all territories.

Shailaja Nag of DBeats Audio said the company had acquired the audio rights of the movie because of Ramanarayan’s lyrical value and the three music directors – Jassie Gift, Ganesh Narayan and Ravi Basrur.

Indrajit Lankesh said Vinod Prabhakar reminded him of his father and declared that more producers will flock to Vinod to sign him for their movies.

Karisubbu remembered Tiger Prabhakar in his speech. Distributor Muniraju said he was confident of the film’s success after distributing 45 films in his career so far.

Vinod Prabhakar thanked the media for the support in bringing this far in his career. He also thanked Shivanna for supporting him and for releasing the film’s poster. He said the song sequences shot in Malaysia were memorable especially for the scorching heat conditions under which it was shot. Vinod Prabhakar delivered a few lines that he had mouthed and showed how his father would have done it as well.

The film’s heroine Urmila Gayathri (Gayathri Iyer) could not make it to Tyson movie's audio launch.
