annada comedy film Tarle Village will release all over Karnataka in about 150 theatres on December 16. The film is produced by Shiva based on a story and screenplay written by Siddegowda. K M Raghu has directed the film. The film has got a U certificate from the censors with four beeps. The movie stars Gadappa, Century Gowda, Thamme Gowda and Abhishek (all of Thithi fame) among others. Prema Yuvaraj and Kumar are distributing the film.

Director Raghu told reporters that the film has been designed to be a village subject and shown as a comedy. It is a film about what happens in a village as a story. He said the film is a comic entertainer with the story running in as many as six tracks. He said there are some serious scenes in the movie which make the people laugh.   

He said the film is two hours of non-stop fun and real incidents that are narrated in a comical way. He said following the success of Thithi, artistes from that film were roped in to play important roles in Tarle Village. He said the characters played by these artistes from Thithi were found to be apt for the film. He said the screenplay is fast paced and the film has a regular commercial format narrative.

Thamme Gowda said he plays a commission agent in the film whose role is pivotal to the film. Century Gowda said people will enjoy the film as much as he enjoyed doing it. 

Prema Yuvaraj said she is from Mandya and had heard the story. She said the film is in its natural flow and is produced realistically. She said artistes had worked hard and added that the film has all the ingredients with a message as well.

Kumar said the number of theatres will total about 170 after adding the multiplex screens.

Sidde Gowda said Gadappa has been bestowed with the title 'natural star'. The film he said has been shot in four villages and that the film has a village perspective to it.
