annada film ‘Rama Rama Re’ celebrated 100 days of its run at a function held at the Karnataka Television Association premises in Bengaluru. The team presented trophies to artistes and technicians and the trophy with a jeep in it was the main attraction. Jayaram had lent the jeep for the film that played an important role in the film. Nataraj was also present.  

Speaking on the occasion, Dhananjaya said he felt happy for his friend’s success in his maiden attempt and added that it was director Satyaprakash’s three-year dream that came true with the success of the film. Yogaraj Bhat said he did not get the opportunity to work with this team as he could not even pen lyrics for a song when Satyaprakash asked for it. However, Yogaraj Bhat said he was able to write a promo song as per the director’s requirement.  

T S Nagabharana said when it comes to mentioning records Mungaru Male is a benchmark but he said Janumada Jodi ran for 25 weeks in 20 centres bringing with it a team of young generation film technicians. He urged his protégé Satyaprakash to make five different kinds of movies and succeed at the box-office.  

Director Satyaprakash said he was not available to his family members or matters pertaining to his family for the last two years during the making of Rama Rama Re.

The film is now being dubbed into three languages for which it has fetched a good price, the team of Rama Rama Re announced.

he team of 'Rama Rama Re' thanked the media and the public for the good response that the film has been getting at the box-office. The film is directed by Satyaprakash and it stars people from theatre background.

Director Satyaprakash said he had started work on the film with a small thread in 2012 without any reference. He said editor Kempraj helped the team in getting the title registered and then the team had travelled 12,000 kms to find the ideal location for the film’s shoot. He said they zeroed on a place near Vijayapura where there was no infrastructure which was required for the film. He said film publicist Nagendra also helped the team in the completion of the film.

The director said Sudeep, Yash, Ganesh and Srimurali have watched the movie and appreciated it.

Distributor Sudhir said he had never seen a film pick up on the second day after a dull opening in his 32 years as a distributor. He said the film had collected Rs 12,000 and a few thousands on the first day but it touched more than a lakh from the second day thanks to word-of-mouth publicity, facebook, twitter and the social media besides the mainstream media.

Editor Kempraj said he was happy with the response as they were initially scared and reserved about the film finding acceptance.

Radha Ramachandra and music composer Vasuki Vaibhav also spoke. Artistes Sridhar and Bhaskar Rao also spoke.

Nataraj who played the lead said he had to mouth loud dialogues and talk a lot in Bhagyaraj. But, in this movie it was just the opposite. He said three-and-a-half years of effort has given them good result.

Singer Sangeetha Katti said she was happy to have sung a song in the movie.

he music of Rama Rama Re was released at a function in Bengaluru. The film will release all over Karnataka on October 21. Vasuki Vybhav has scored the music for the film which has five songs. The film is directed by Satyaprakash who has worked as Nagabharana’s associate.

Satyaprakash told reporters that Rama Rama Re is his three-year old brainchild. He said mostly theatre artistes have acted in the movie which has elements of thriller, suspense, comedy, emotion and expression.

The director said the film has no producers adding that people who have acted in the movie have put in the money as investment for the movie’s production. He said the film has been shot in locales that have barren land some 50 km from Vijayapura.

Siddalingaiah Kambalu has written the dialogues for the first time in a film. He said the film is realistic and emotional which is the reason he agreed to pen the dialogues.

Kemparaj is the editor who is working in his 200th film.

Jayaram, Nataraj, Dharmanna, Bimbashri Neenasam and Mutta have acted in the movie. Robin Paul has scored the background music.
