R CHANDRU’S TELUGU FILM WINS BEST ROMANTIC AWARD AT JIFF
Kannada film director R Chandru’s Telugu film ‘Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini’ has won the best romantic film award at the 8th Jaipur International Film Festival -JIFF 2016. The award was given away to the director on January 6, 2016 at Golcha Cinema in Jaipur.

This award is one of the 45 categories of awards announced in the festival. The Telugu film ‘Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini’ is a remake of Kannada film ‘Charminar’. The film is produced by Sridhar Lagadapati. Hari is the music composer and K S Chandrashekar has debuted as the cinematographer in Telugu cinema. Sapthagiri and M S Narayan among others are in the cast.
