DEVARAJ’S YOUNGER SON PRANAM DEBUTS AS CINE ACTOR

evaraj’s younger son and the youngest member in the household Pranam Devaraj faced the camera for the first time as a hero for an untitled film that got launched on Sundaymorning.

Pranam Devaraj told journalists that his dream of becoming an actor is coming true. He said he had been watching his father and elder brother perform on screen. Pranam said he had completed his BBM and is now raring to enter the industry as an actor.

The film that saw the launch of Pranam Devaraj is directed by Sreeman Vemula and produced by Sampath Kumar and Sridhar.

Director Vemula said the film is a remake of Telugu hit Kumari 21F which was written and directed by Sukumaran. The film is about an immature middle-class innocent guy who falls in love with a girl. His life undergoes a lot of changes and how he becomes a responsible man is what the story is all about, the director said.

Vemula said the film will be shot in Bengaluru and the songs are likely to be shot in Thailand.

Sagar Mahithi, son of music composer Mani Sharma will be composing the film for this untitled Kannada film.

Nidhi Kushalappa who is playing the female lead said its her third film as a heroine.

Devaraj said he was happy and nervous about his son’s launch as an actor. He said cinema is not what it used to be before. He said it looks good and colourful from outside but they come to know of its difficulties once they have jumped into the fray. He said he has advised Pranam to be disciplined, honest and committed and added that acting has to come from within.
