CHILDREN’S FILM ‘PUTANI SAFARI’ READY FOR THEATRICAL RELEASE
Director Ravindra Vamshi told reporters that the film has been made on the lines of Jungle Book. He said the film has been shot in the forests for 25 days mainly and it is a story that unfolds in the forests. He said Sirsi-Siddapura forest range was chosen for the shoot.
The director said the film is about how children are brought up in cities and when a city-bred boy gets caught in the forest along with another tribal boy how they spend the night in difficulty with wildlife surrounding them. He said computer graphics have been used and some real wild life has been captured as well.
The film stars Master Raju, Master Pratham, Rocking Krishna and Baby Manasa besides Manish.
MLA Munirathna Naidu who came to release the film’s audio and the trailer besides wishing the team said children’s films are less in number these days in terms of production and the viewer patronage. But, he said children are so well informed these days that its heartening to see them.
