NANNA NINNA PREMA KATHE MOVIE REVIEW
The film is about Shankar, a young man from Vijayapura who greets and entertains tourists at the Gol Gumbaz by drawing mehandi. He is also a part of the local orchestra team that performs at marriages and other functions as a singer.
The film’s love story begins at a marriage function and ends at a rose garden. Shankar turns down Priya’s proposal but comes around. Obviously, this leaves her brother Shiva red faced. Shankar and Priya fall in love with each other eventually and meet in places like Gol Gumbaz, Barah Kaman, Ibrahim Roza and Sangeetha Mahal, but fate wills otherwise for them with some unexpected happenings. Priya goes speechless after a bloody fight and is wheelchair-bound. Shankar nurses her with an injured right hand.
Two songs in the movie are hummable. The song sung by Vijaya Raghavendra Majoobaathagide….is quite melodious and the Madarangi song is also pleasant.
Vijaya Raghavendra is good in his role. Nidhi Subbaiah who is back after a gap looks good and lives her role well. Joker Hanumanthu, who has worked in television, makes you laugh in a comical role. He could be another good comedian that Kannada cinema is searching for. Sudha Belawadi, Gururaj Hoskote, Chikkanna, Tilak and Sangeetha have also lent good support. Haseeb's camera work is good.
