usic composer Hamsalekha released the audio and trailer of the film ‘Marali Manege’ at a function in Bengaluru. The film is produced by S N Linge Gowda and Subhash Gowda. The film is written and directed by Yogesh Master. The film stars Shruthi, Suchendra Prasad, Shankar Aryan, Sahana, Arundhati Jatkar and Aniruddha Jatkar in a special appearance. Yogesh Master and Gurumurthy Vaidya have scored the music for the movie which has ten songs while Raj Shivashankar is the cameraman.  

Producer Linge Gowda said he is making a film for the first time that will be liked by the society.

Hamsalekha remembered the time the song Huttiddare Kannada Naadalli Huttabeku sung by Dr Rajkumar and its recording at Chamundeshwari Studio. Yogesh Master who is a lecturer with Desi College had written this story for a play and now it is a film, Hamsalekha said.  

Shruthi said after many years she is playing a role that is beyond her age and that is of a mother to a 30-year-old guy. Suchendra Prasad who is playing the father’s role said he had got a good opportunity to perform in the film.  

Yogesh Master said it has been 20 years since he wrote this story. He said it had become famous as a play and people had suggested that it be made into a film. He said plays reach a few people while cinema reaches many and that’s why it was made into a film. The film is based on an incident that happens in the backdrop of the year 1980. A young boy leaves his home that leaves his parents suffering and whether he returns is what the story is all about, Yogesh said.
