MANDYADA HUDUGRU GETS ‘A’ CERTIFICATE, READY FOR RELEASE

pcoming Kannada horror movie ‘Mandyada Hudugru’ has got an ‘A’ certificate from the censors following the completion of its shoot and post-production activity. The film is written, produced and directed by J J Srinivas who has also acted in the movie as one of the three leads. The film stars two other guys Ram Sagar and Venkatesh with three heroines – Rekhasri, Ashita Gowda and Krishnaveni.

Producer-director J J Srinivas said Mandyada Hudugru is a horror movie with elements of thrill and suspense. He said the film is based on real incidents and added that the story is the hero. He said there is confusion about the existence of God and ghost and that is the premise of the film. The film has got an A certificate due to the sound effects and the element of fear. He said there is no vulgarity or sleaze in the film. He said the film is about three people with three different mindsets going to a hostel and what happens should be seen on the screen.

The film has been shot in Mandya, Mysuru, Nagamangala and Bengaluru.

Ram Sagar said Mandyada Hudugru is his second film and his first as a full-fledged hero. Venkatesh, a weaver by profession said he plays an important role in the film while Basavaraj said he plays a special role in his third film.

Ashita Gowda said she personally likes watching horror films even if it scares her a bit and said she has been getting roles in horror films. She said she is doing a Telugu film as well. Ashita has also worked in serials and is currently pursuing her first year BCom.  Rekhasri said she is seen in a bold role in her first film.
