"MAAMU TEA ANGADI" RELEASE THIS FRIDAY
‘Maamu Tea Angadi’ will release in about 80 to 100 theatres on November 20 across Karnataka. The film is being distributed through Auto Raju. The film is produced by Vishwanath who is now rechristened as Abhishek and his father Shivamantrappa Sannurkar. The film stars the producer Abhishek himself, Mahesh Raj, Ritesh, Varun Kumar, Meter Sudhir, Sangeetha Bhat, Archana Singh and Rashi Singh in key roles. The film is written and directed by A Paramesh.

According to director Paramesh, the film begins at the tea shop and takes off from there to end at the same tea shop which is a favourite joint for the youngsters who have acted in the movie. Celebrities Srinagara Kitty, Ajay Krishna Rao and Prem have supported the film by their appearance in a song. The film talks about the values of friendship, according to director. 

The movie has used live instruments on the road and for the first time a song has been picturised on the street. Bollywood choreographer Terrence Louis has made a special appearance in the movie.

Archana Singh is debuting in Kannada cinema with this movie. She plays a rich and an arrogant girl in the movie. Mahesh Raj plays a rough and tough guy who hails from a middle-class family but gets caught in a web of love. Sudhir, now Meter Sudhir plays the main villain in the film.

Nanda Kumar is the cinematographer. Gopi Seegehalli is the lyricist and has penned four songs. Auto Raju is distributing the film.

‘Maamu Tea Angadi’ will release in about 80 to 100 theatres on November 20 across Karnataka. The film is being distributed through Auto Raju. The film stars the producer Abhishek himself, Mahesh Raj, Ritesh, Varun Kumar, Meter Sudhir, Sangeetha Bhat, Archana Singh and Rashi Singh in key roles. The film is written and directed by A Paramesh.

Director Paramesh told reporters that the film begins at the tea shop and takes off to end at the same tea shop which is a favourite joint for the youngsters who have acted in the movie. He said he has given more importance to the story and is entertaining. He said the film has a raw and a realistic feel and added that newcomers who could portray rawness were cast. Paramesh said the team also found dancer Varun through the reality show Dance India Dance in Varun who is a Bengalurean but choreographer based in Mumbai.

He said celebrities Srinagara Kitty, Ajay Krishna Rao and Prem supported them by their appearance in the song. Paramesh said the film talks about the values of friendship.

Producer Abhishek said his father heard the story and was happy to produce the film. He said he was tensed about the movie and how it would shape up and added that the budget for the movie had doubled from their earlier estimate of Rs 80 lakh.

Varun said he plays a struggling artiste in the movie. He said the movie has used live instruments on the road and for the first time a song has been picturised on the street. He said his mentor choreographer Terrence Louis had also made a special appearance in the movie.

Archana Singh said she is debuting in Kannada cinema with this movie. She said she had worked as an air hostess and in the hotel industry besides working for an IT company before auditioning for this role. She said she plays a rich and an arrogant girl in the movie.

Mahesh Raj said he plays a rough and tough guy who hails from a middle-class family but gets caught in a web of love.

Sudhir, now Meter Sudhir plays the main villain in the film. Meter Sudhir said he is a wall painter and a vehicle mechanic who modifies bikes. He said he was amazed at the director’s offer to play the main villain and he readily accepted it.

Cinematographer Nanda Kumar said he had used three cameras in the film.

Gopi Seegehalli is the lyricist and has penned four songs. Distributor Auto Raju also spoke.

MAMU TEA ANGADI’ TRAILER EXHIBITED

he lovely star Premkumar also ‘Nenepirali’ Prem was in memory of his olden days at the trailer launch he attended at ‘Mamu Tea Angadi’ of his friend turned director Paramesh.

Prem recalling the By-two Coffee days with Paramesh said he cannot forget him because in his difficult days he gave job for him in CD shot. My friend Paramesh asks for anything I cannot say no. He is now introducing my son Master Ekanth. I just said yes for his call stated Prem in his address and declared open the trailer and songs of the film ‘MTA’.

We have done what we thought and there are friendship days of Prem in the film. Paramesh making debut as director have many new talent in the film starting from Varun. Baalish Babna, Stylish villain, Dennis Lewis, Satish in RR, Avinash Chabbi, Aryan Muktha Raj, Gopi Sigehalli etc. The film got U/A certificate from the censor board is ready to hit the silver screen in November hopes Paramesh.  NM Suresh, Archana, Sangeetha Bhat are also part of the cast.

The main protagonist of the film Varun has taken this Kannada film instead of Bollywood assignments. Paramesh is a good friend and passionate maker. We have taken dance to another level he says.

MUSICAL AUDIO RELEASE FOR ‘MAMU T ANGADI

t was music and dance filled audio release for ‘Mamu T Angadi’ at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall on Thursday night. The actors of the film came for the songs performed on the stage. The popular stars like Srinagara Kitty, Ajay Rao came to wish good luck to the team that they are part in guest roles. Yogish and Premkumar are also part of this film in song and performance did not turn up. Yogish brother Mahesh was present while lovely star Premkumar son Ekanth was present to entertain in dance of his father film song bits. For the first time cute little Ekanth has acted with his star actor father Premkumar in this ‘Mamu T Angadi’.

Paramesh addressing the media said he said good bye to Hindi actress Bipasha Basu even after accepting for Rs.28 lakhs remuneration for three hours of her appearance. It is because Bipasha declined to agree for media meet for publicity Paramesh cut off the portions of Bipasha Basu.

As of now the film is at re-recording stage. I have full confidence with my script he says. I am happy with what is given in the film says Paramesh.

The dance of Gnan Aitha, beats of Bavesh Bafna, Varun Singam dance were treat to watch. Producer Sannurkar was there to give his theatre play dialogues, Lahari Velu released the audio of ‘Mamu T Angadi’.

MAMU TEA ANGADI’ OVER LOADED WITH ENERGY!

t was evident from the enthusiasm of ‘Mamu Tea Angadi’ Kannada cinema that it is over loaded with energy. Director Parameshwara once a television journalist today in Rs.2.75 crore budget movie. Either Kajol or Bipasha Basu are making debut in Kannada film ‘Mamu Tea Angadi’ and it is a right presence thought by director. Contacts have been established at the completion of 60 percent of shooting for the film.

Varun of ‘Dance Indian Dance’ fame is one among the four youth. Ritesh, Vishwa and Mahesh are other three boys with Sangeetha Bhat and others in the cast. Honnavalli Krishna is the ‘Mamu Tea Angadi’ owner.

Among the highlights popular heroes Lovely star Premkumar, Srinagara Kitty, Ajay Rao, Yogish and Prajwal Devaraj are in guest roles and except Prajwal are the four are singing for a song.

With heavy weights from regional side to the film from the national side it is Terence Lewis who is making debut in Kannada cinema. Terence choreographer for many top stars in Hindi cinema is here because of his student Varu invitation. He is not charging anything for his job.

Addressing the media Terance says South India films are made quickly without wastage. I would follow it for my film and I might take up a touching film with light subject one day he says.

Jogaiah Nandakumar is cameraman for the film. He is very sure of good film from Mamu Tea Angadi. He is shooting in digital format.

Bhavesh a team mate performed with two sticks and kitchen vessels on the spot. It is this piece that was adopted for the shooting for this film.

Sannurkar from Bidar is the producer of ‘MTA’.
