MALGUDI STATION’ SHOOT ON FROM NEXT WEEK

algudi Station, a Kannada crime thriller will begin shoot next week. The film is being produced by Puneeth Gowda and directed by Shiva.

Director Shiva who had earlier made Charlie told reporters that the film has nothing to do with Malgudi Days but is an imaginary railway station created by him. He said the film is about an incident that happens between 8 pm and 8 am. He said the film has seven people from different walks of life going in search of a thing and their struggle to get it.

He said prominent south Indian stars will be signed to play the roles of politician and a police officer.

The film will be shot in locales of Shivamogga, Sagara, Talaguppa and Agumbe over a 45-day shooting schedule.

The film will have four songs for which Chandan Shetty will be scoring the music.

The film stars Ajit Devaraj in his second film and newbies Vilok and Omkar. Deepti, Kavya Sha and Amrita Rao are the heroines who will all be doing their third film in their respective careers.
