ಲಾಸ್ಟ್ ಬಸ್ ೫೦ರ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ  ಹಾರರ್, ಥ್ರಿಲ್ಲರ್ ಚಿತ್ರವೆಂದು ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾದ 'ಲಾಸ್ಟ್‌ಬಸ್' ಚಿತ್ರವು ಅನಾಯಾಸವಾಗಿ ೫೦ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪೂರೈಸಿದೆ. ಚೆನ್ನೈನ ಎರಡು ಮಾಲ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಗಳಿಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ತೆಲುಗು ಭಾಷೆಗೆ ಡಬ್ ಮಾಢುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಮೇರಿಕಾ, ಪ್ಯಾರೀಸ್, ದುಬೈನಿಂದ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆಯಂತೆ. ಕಮರ್ಷಿಯಲ್, ಕಲಾತ್ಮಕ ಅಲ್ಲದ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಜನರು ಇಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಎಸ್.ಡಿ.ಅರವಿಂದ್‌ಗೆ ಖುಷಿ ತಂದಿದೆ. ಹಿನ್ನಲೆ ಸಂಗೀತ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಸ್ಟಿಫನ್‌ಪ್ರಯೋಗ್ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಚೆನ್ನೈನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶಂಸೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನಾಯಕ ಅವಿನಾಶ್‌ಗೆ ಈ ಪಾಠಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಗಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರ ಅಭಾವ ಇತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಅಭಿನಯ ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರದವರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಿಂದೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ತಪ್ಪನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಚೂಸಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.      ಮಾನಸಜೋಷಿ, ದೀಪಾಗೌಡ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿಸಿರುವುದು ಸಾರ್ಥಕವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಸಂತಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಸಂಕಲನಕಾರ ಶ್ರೀ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಸಕ್ಸಸ್ ಖಚಿತ ಅಂತಾರೆ. ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರ ಜಿಎನ್‌ಸಿ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಇದೇ ತಂಡದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೋಂದು ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಿರ್ಣಯ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದರು. ಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಮಾಢಿದ ಸಿನಿಮಾವು ಹಿಟ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ತಂಡದ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತಸ ತಾಂಡವವಾಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. -28/02/16 |

ಲಾಸ್ಟ್ ಬಸ್ ಹತ್ತಲು ಅಡ್ಡಿಯಿಲ್ಲ...............  ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನಂಬಬೇಕಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕಂದ್ರೆ, ನಂಬಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲ ಸುಳ್ಳಾ? ಕನಸಾ? ಮೂಢನಂಬಿಕೆಯಾ? ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ನಿಮ್ಮದು. ಕಥಾನಾಯಕ ಆರಂ`ದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುವ ಗೊಂದಲವೇ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರದ್ದು ಕೂಡ. ಅರವಿಂದ್ ನರಸಿಂಹರಾಜು ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ `ಲಾಸ್ಟ್ ಬಸ್' ಚಿತ್ರ ಇಂಥದ್ದೊಂದು ಕ್ಲೆ`ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸ್‌ಗೆ ಬರುವ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತರ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಲುಕದ ಹಲವು ಸಂಗತಿಗಳು ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಬಿಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತವೆ. ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ನೋಡುಗನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವು ರೀತಿಯ ಜಿeಸೆ ಹುಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕುವುದು ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ವಿಶೇಷ. `ಜುಗಾರಿ' ನಂತರ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಅರವಿಂದ್ `ಲಾಸ್ಟ್ ಬಸ್'ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವಾಗ ಹುಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಹುಸಿಗೊಳಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಒಡ್ಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಅವರು, ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕನ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ತೆರನಾದ ದೃಶ್ಯಾನು`ವವನ್ನು ಉಣಬಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಿನಿರಸಿಕರಿಗೆ `ಲಾಸ್ಟ್ ಬಸ್' ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆ ಒಂದು ಚೇಂಜ್‌ಓವರ್. ಕಥಾವಸ್ತುವೇ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕೌತುಕ. ರಿಯಾಲಿಟಿ ಶೋಗಳು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅವಾಂತರಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಣ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಮಲೆನಾಡಿನ ದಟ್ಟ ಕಾನನದ ನಡುವಿನ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಈಗಲೂ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಬಸ್ ಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಇಲ್ಲೂ ಅಷ್ಟೇ, ಲ್ಗುಣಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೇಗರವಳ್ಳಿ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹಣಸಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಲು ಇರುವುದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೇ ಬಸ್ಸು. ಅದೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ತಿರುವು-ಮುರುವು ರಸ್ತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಂಥ ದುರ್ಗಮ ಹಾದಿಯ ಲಾಸ್ಟ್‌ಬಸ್‌ಗೆ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ರೀತಿಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಂದ ನೊಂದ ಪೃಥ್ವಿ, ರೀಟಾ, ಮಮತಾ, ಸಹಸ್ರ, ಶೀತಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಸು`ಕರ್ ಹತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ ಟ್ರಕ್ಕಿಂಗ್‌ಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹಾದಿ ತಪ್ಪಿದವ ಪೃಥ್ವಿ, ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯಕರ ಸಂತೋಷನನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲು ಹೊರಟವಳು ರೀಟಾ, ಮಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನವಳನ್ನಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಕೋರ್ಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಜರಾಗಬೇಕಾದವಳು ಮಮತಾ, ಮರುದಿನ ತೀರ್ಥಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಬೇಕಾದವನು ಸು`ಕರ. ಇವೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತೊಯ್ಯುವ ಬಸ್ಸು, ಚಾಲಕ ಟಂಕನ ಹುನ್ನಾರದಿಂದ ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿ ಕಾಡಿನ ನಡುವೆ ಅಪಘಾತಕ್ಕೀಡಾದ ನಂತರ, ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿಜವಾದ ಕಥೆ ಶುರುವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಲಾಸ್ಟ್ ಬಸ್‌ನ ಚಾಲಕ ಟಂಕನ ಹುನ್ನಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲದ್ದಂತೆ ರಿಯಾಲಿಟಿ ಶೋನ ಬಲಿಪಶುಗಳಾಗುವ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು, ಒಂದು ಪಾಳು ಬಂಗಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಲುಕುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅವರು ಹೊರಬರಲು ಪಡುವ ಪಡಿಪಾಟಲುಗಳು ಅದೇ ರಿಯಾಲಿಟಿ ಶೋನ ಟಿಆರ್‌ಪಿಯ ಸರಕಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಆ ಸಂದ`ದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಭಿನ್ನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳಿಂದ ಶೋ ದಿಕ್ಕು ತಪ್ಪುತ್ತದೆ. ಪಾಳು ಬಂಗಲೆಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿದವರು, ತಮ್ಮದೇ `ಯದ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳೊಳಗೆ, ಕಥೆ ಸೈಕಲಾಜಿಕಲ್ ಮಿಸ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೆ. ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರು ಒಂದೊಂದು ರೂಪದ `ಯದ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ಒದ್ದಾಡುವ ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳು ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ತಟ್ಟುತ್ತವೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅವರು ಹೊರ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಸಸ್ಪೆನ್ಸ್. ಗಾಂಧಿನಗರ ಸಿದ್ಧಸೂತ್ರಗಳ ಜೇಡರ ಬಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಒದ್ದಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ವರ್ತಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿನ ರಿಯಾಲಿಟಿ ಶೋನ ಅತಿರೇಕವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಿಸಿರುವ `ಲಾಸ್ಟ್ ಬಸ್' ಈ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಎನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಅವಿನಾಶ್ ನರಸಿಂಹರಾಜು, ಮಾನಸ ಜೋಷಿ, ಮೇಘನಾಶ್ರೀ ಅವರದ್ದು ಅದ್ಭುತ ನಟನೆ. ದೀಪಾ ಗೌಡ, ಲೋಕೇಶ್ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ, ಸಮರ್ಥ್ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ವಾಹಿನಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಬೆಳವಾಡಿ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮಲೆನಾಡಿನ ದಟ್ಟ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನ ಮ` ಲಾಸ್ಟ್‌ಬಸ್ ಸಾಗುವ ಪಯಣವಂತೂ ಅದ್ಭುತ. ಅನಂತ ಅರಸ್ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಹಣ ನೋಡುಗನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕುಕ್ಕುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಸ್ಟೀನ್ ಪ್ರಯೋಗ್‌ರ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಸಂಗೀತ ಹಿಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು ಒಂದೇ ಹಾಡು. ಮತ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಗುನುಗಲು ಆಸೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವ ಮಾ`ರ್ಯವಿದು. ಅವಿನಾಶ್ ಕಲೆ, ಕ್ರೇಜಿ ಮೈಂಡ್ಸ್ ಸಂಕಲನ ಹಾಗೂ ಅರವಿಂದ್ ಸಂ`ಷಣೆ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಪೂರಕ. ಇವೆಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ಮುಕುಟ ಪ್ರಾಯವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಅರವಿಂದ್‌ರ ನಿರೂಪಣೆ. ಲಾಸ್ಟ್ ಬಸ್ ಹತ್ತಲು ಅಡ್ಡಿಯಿಲ್ಲ. -KNN NEWS -15/01/16 |
‘LAST BUS’ DUE ON JAN 15, DOORI SONGS GOES GLOBAL Director Arvinda said Doori song from the movie had become the first Kannada song to be aired on BBC Asian Network Radio station. He said the strength of the film is its script and content. He said audiences today are exposed to world cinema and so it took the team six months to finish the VFX. He said fear is the romantic expression in the movie that we have tried to portray. The orchestration is western and has possible combinations. There is silence and music at the right places. Avinash said the team finished a week of promotional tour across the state and termed the journey as fruitful. He said the tour was meant to create curiosity but he said people were already aware of the film and are waiting to see the movie. He said the film will be dubbed into French. He said for the first time there will be a paid preview of the movie ahead of its release on Thursday, January 14 at a few multiplexes and added that the film will be premiered in Mysuru for the first time onJanuary 14. Producer Gururaj Kulkarni said care had been taken to choose the right theatres to screen the movie which has visual effects and good background music. He said Last Bus is a mindful movie which will require people to carry their brains and minds into the cinema halls. Editor Shree said the curiosity of the film picks up in the second half. ‘LAST BUS’ TRAILER LAUNCHED, TO RELEASE ON JAN 15 Producer Gururaj Kulkarni said all preparations were being done to release the movie on January 15, 2016. He said Last Bus is a niche movie and will require some time to reach people. He said the team led by Avinash will embark on a journey covering various districts and mofussil areas of Karnataka ahead of the release. He said the movie will release in about 80 theatres all over Karnataka which is being distributed by Basavaraju and release overseas one or two weeks later. Kulkarni said the film has been shot in Devaramane forest, Kundadri peak, Seethuru, Abbigundi falls, Gutti and Byrapura of western ghats and Malnad regions. The indoor shoot of film took place at Karnataka’s first chief minister K C Reddy’s ancestral home in Kyasamballi near KGF. Avinash has worked on the set design and art direction for the film. Kulkarni said the scenes of the movie are scary but not sleazy or vulgar. But, the censors have given a U/A certificate for the film. Director Arvinda said the movie is a psychological journey that works on two levels. He said the movie has four songs and eight theme songs. Avinash said the film was an experience by itself as he was involved in set design, lighting and art direction besides acting. The newly wed Manasa Joshi said the movie was a new attempt and added that the director had reached a certain level in putting things together. |

‘LAST BUS’ GOES GLOBAL WITH AUDIO LAUNCH While recalling his father’s association with Narasimharaju, Puneeth wished the team good luck. Puneeth also urged the non-resident Indians (Kannadigas) to widen the Kannada film market overseas. The film stars Avinash, Deepa Gowda, Manasi Joshi, Meghana Bhagavathar, Samarth and Rajesh Nair among others. The film is produced by B Krishnappa, Gururaj Kulkarni, G N C Reddy, Prashanth Kallur and S D Arvinda and is co-produced by Naveen Manjunath, Avinash (Om Studio), Anil-Sunil and J S Babu. "LAST BUS" NOT HORROR BUT PSYCHO SUSPENSE THRILLER! The trailer and teaser of ‘Last Bus’ was launched on Monday (February 23). Speaking to journalists on this occasion, ‘after the failure of ‘Jugari’ movie, I was in a dilemma of which joiner movie to direct. At the end I had came out with a horror thriller subject which takes place in western ghat’s remote village’ director S.D.Aravind said. ‘Though the movie is produced with shoe string budget, we have not compromised with visual language. Cinematographer Ananth Urs has done a fabulous work behind the camera’ he lauded. Shree, editor of the movie said, ‘editing table is the last stop for any movie. But, the movie is still alive with his distinct quality. It is the responsibility of an editor to sharpen the movie with merciless scissor work. The art department has done a splendid job to enhance the quality of the movie. Along with this distinct narration of the story keeps it apart from other usual horror zone movies’ he certified. ‘S.D.Aravind was a student of mine in Christ College. I had taught him about fundamental theatrical syllabus at that time. Till today he is in touch with me and he always come to know my words about his story. Earlier to ‘Last Bus’ movie, he had come to me with ‘Eveready Boys’ script. As I disputed many things about that script, he had come to me with a new script without any title. After the reading of script, I suggested him to name the movie with ‘Last Bus’ title. I’m confident that, this movie is absolutely going to change the language of horror cinema’ Lyricist K.Y.Narayanswamy appreciated. After a gap of five years, Avinash, hero of the movie has even worked as an art director in the movie. ‘My first passion is always drawing. But, due to several compulsions, after ‘Jugari’ movie, I couldn’t continue as art director and I diverted my priority towards acting. But, my parents always insisted me to concentrate on art department. At the time of launch of ‘Last Bus’, director S.D.Aravind announced me as art director of the movie, which took me in surprise’ he reminded. With this movie, four members of Late Narasimharaju family are working together in the movie. Samarth, grandson of Late Narasimharaju is debuting as an actor with this movie whereas Sudha Narasimharaju is giving voice over to an important character of the movie. Actresses Deepa Gowda, Manasa Joshi and Meghashree too spoke on this occasion. Producers T.Krishnappa, Gururaj Kulakarni and others were present in the press meet. |

ge. Avinash said Abhinay theatre in Bengaluru saw a houseful board for a Kannada film for the first time after 18 years.
The film is directed by S D Arvinda who earlier directed Jugaari Cross. While Ravi Kumar J V is the co-director and Mahesh S P is the associate director, all the three including Arvinda have together scripted the movie.
