DANGER ZONE SONG CLOCKS 25 LAKH HITS ON YOUTUBE

he song ‘Srigandha Devathe’ from the movie Danger Zone sung by Shankar Mahadevan and composed by Satish Aryan has clocked 25 lakh hits on Youtube ever since its launch on the social media site. The film team shared their happiness about the song’s feat with the media persons on Tuesday. The film is produced by Swagath Gowda and Ramu. 

Director Devarajkumar said the film has been censored without any cuts and has been categorized a horror film. He said Uday who has appeared as villain in many films worked out for three songs before the shoot for the song Srigandha Devathe. Uday is a woodcutter and the sensuous song has been shot in Hampi. He said Shankar Mahadevan has sung well and so has it been tuned well by composer Satish Aryan. 

The director said the film starts with an investigation and it turns into a revenge story. 

Music composer Satish Aryan said the song which has broken records warrants a situation in the movie that goes back in period to about 30 years to 40 years. He said the film offered him a lot of scope for music. 

Roop Shetty who is a RJ in Mangaluru said he never thought he would act in a movie although he said he fancied his chances. He said his role provided him enough scope to perform. 

Tribhuvan who choreographed the song Srigandha Devathe said he was initially nervous as the song was good. However, he said the song itself became an inspiration for him to choreograph it. He said Danger Zone is a technicians film. 

Uday said he thought he was the villain of the movie. He said he was made to listen to the song and was told that he was the hero for the number. Uday said it took a month’s time to develop his physique and sport a six pack which he took it as a challenge. 

Danger Zone also stars Ramya in the female lead. The film is slated to release in September.

DANGER ZONE’ TRAILER, AUDIO CD RELEASED

hallenging Star Darshan launched the trailer and released the audio CD of the Kannada horror film ‘Danger Zone’ at a multiplex in Bengaluru on Thursday evening. Deputy Mayor of Bengaluru Hemalatha Gopalaiah was also present to wish the film team good luck.

Danger Zone is produced by Ramu and Swagath Gowda and is directed by Devaraj Kumar. The film stars Roop Shetty, Ramya and Uday among others.  Danger Zone is a film made by technicians with makeup artist Devaraj Kumar turning director of the movie. Satish Aryan has scored the music.

Darshan praised producer Ramu for climbing up the ladder from a set boy to producing a film. He hoped that the movie will have special effects that will surprise the audiences and wished the team good luck. Srujan Lokesh who accompanied him wished the team good luck and wished that the film get into success zone from the danger zone.

Ragini Dwivedi who walked in after Darshan and Srujan had left said she was happy that a makeup artist had directed a film. She said that she had started her career almost along with the director and expressed her eagerness to work with him.

Director Ramu said the film has a star cast comprising newcomers made at a budget of Rs 1.5 crore. He said cinematographer Venus Murthy was apprehensive about coming on board to do the film. But, the director said Murthy agreed to be the cameraman and was provided all equipment. He also praised heroine Ramya for her wonderful performance in the movie especially in the climax where she makes people cry.

Villain Uday said he had built a six pack body to play the baddie and for the song. He said the film will scare people and especially the kids.

Roop Shetty who is a radio jockey in Mangaluru said he had not still realized that he had acted in a movie. He jokingly said after watching the duet featuring villain Uday that he should have been the villain so that he could have got that chance for himself.

Debutante Ramya who has acted in Tamil and Telugu films said it was nice working with the team. She said nobody forced her to work and that she was given freedom on the sets. She recalled the terrible experience of shooting a song near the Kushalnagar falls.

"DANGER ZONE" THE HORROR ZONE!

fter the huge success of 6-5=2 movie, the Gandhinagar film makers seem to be passionate about horror subject. In addition to horror joiner, the new movie ‘Danger Zone’ is adding its number to it.

The makeup artist turned director Devaraj Kumar is debuting as director to Sandalwood with ‘Danger Zone’ movie. Mahesh Gowdru is producing the movie.

Addressing the media, Devaraj Kumar said, ‘the movie is based on a real incident which was narrated by my friends of three. The story is having investigating subject which is blended with horror. The movie is going to horrify and thrill the audience. The main intention of the movie is same too’ he said.

‘The movie shall be shot around Sakaleshpura thick forest for 35 days. The shooting of the movie will commence from February 20, 2015’ he added.

Roop Shetty, basically both RJ and VJ is playing male protagonist role in the movie. ‘Early to this movie I have already acted in a Tulu movie called ‘Dibbana’. It is yet to be released. At the time of ‘Dance to Dance’ reality show, director Devaraj Kumar met me and offered me to play the protagonist role in the movie. The movie has got all commercial elements which can promote a hero in right manner’ he said.

‘Pade Pade’, ‘Ee dil helide nee bekantha’ and ‘Khatarnak’ movie music director Satish Aryan is composing the music for the movie. ‘One day director Devaraj Kumar came to me with a trailer and asked me to compose background music. After watching the trailer, I felt that the trailer is made with honesty and dedication. According to the demand of the trailer, I’ve delivered my best in re-recording. As the movie is of horror joiner, it has got only three songs which were penned by the director Devaraj Kumar, Malavalli Saikrishna and Banawasi’ he said.
