A M R RAMESH DONATES RS 15 LAKH TO FARMERS IN DEBT

irector A M R Ramesh of Cyanide and Veerappan Attahasa fame has donated Rs 15 lakh to farmers who are in financial debt. He has disbursed Rs 20,000 each to more than 50 farmers’s families who are in financial distress.

Ramesh has finished his latest film Game that stars Arjun Sarja, Manisha Koirala and Shaam among others. He intends to launch the film’s audio on October 10. He also plans to invite music director Ilayaraja for the function who was not keeping well in the recent past. Ramesh has also announced plans to release the film on Oct 30.

irector A M R Ramesh of Cyanide and Veerappan Attahasa fame celebrated his birthday on September 21 in a unique way.  He visited some villages in Channapatna taluk to extend a helping hand financially to the farmers who were in debt.  He visited villages of Abborudoddi, Singarajipura and Krishnapura in the taluk and presented cheques for Rs 15,000 each to farmers’ families who were in debt.  He said he didn’t believe in celebrating birthdays by throwing lavish parties and wasting money. He said farmers need financial help badly and it is better to spend the same money on mitigating their financial woes.

On the same day,  Ramesh visited Salumarada Thimmakka and presented her a cheque for Rs 25,000 and celebrated his birthday. He  said he came to know that Thimmakka was in difficulty and that she needed urgent financial help. He said he was very happy to have celebrated his birthday in this manner.

Ramesh has completed work on his Kannada-Tamil bilingual film Game. The film’s audio release is expected to happen soon.
