He said the film is about Anjaneya, an eighth standard student from Bellary who has no hands but he draws sketches using his legs in a jiffy. He is also a national award winner. A widowed mother who is in abject poverty admits the child to an organization where he is taken care of and that is where the child meets a blind student who comes to his support. The blind student gets an opportunity to participate in the AKKA meet in the US. Praveen Godkhindi’s son Shadaj plays the role of the blind boy. Anjaneya is himself essaying his role in the film. Mooguru Sunder, Vinaya Prasad, Ramesh Bhat and Sunita among others are in the cast. The shoot for the film was held in G V Iyer Studio, Chitrakala Parishat and other locations for about 24 days. Praveen Godkhindi has composed five songs and sung one of them. At the audio release function, senior director S K Bhagawan was honoured. Anjaneya, the boy from Bellary without hands was given financial aid and wheel chairs were presented to the affected. Producer Anu Teja, a social worker has herself played the role of the mother in the movie. P K H Dass is the cinematographer of the movie. |
