SHORT FILM ‘AMBANI THE INVESTOR’ GETS 1 MILLION HITS ON YOUTUBE Producer Vishnu A Prasanna said the film got hits after a Kannada newspaper reported on the film and that there were no hits for the first three months. Director Vinod Nag said the film which has a message that one shouldn’t wait for opportunities and that opportunities should be created has been received well. He said the 20-minute film has been shot using a 5D camera for which the team spent Rs 35000 although many did not take their remuneration. He said a company had even used this film as a motivational tool to its employees. Ambani is about a 14-year old school going boy who creates opportunities for himself to earn money for his family. He goes on to earn Rs 138 in a single day using his intelligence and without missing his daily schooling activity. The boy engages himself in earning a small sum of money in the morning and in the evening after school. Master Manoj from Siddaganga Mutt has acted as Ambani. He has acted in films like Halliya Makkalu, Little Master and Araluva Hoovugalu. Nagarjuna is the cameraman and Kiran Ravindranath has scored the background music. Shivaraj Mehu is the editor. |
