‘Alpa Virama , (Kaama)’, a film on love, lust and patriotism has completed its first schedule of shoot and will begin its next schedule of shoot during the week. The film is produced by B S Vani Kantharaju and is directed by Ziaullah Khan. The film stars Kishore, Krishi Thapanda and newbie Meghana Vaani among others. Dashavara Chandru is the executive producer of the movie as the film is being made under the banner of Dashavara Chandru Pictures Pvt Ltd.

Nagesh Acharya is the cinematographer and Keerthan is scoring the music.

The teaser of the film was launched with dignatories of the likes of Lahari Velu and retired ACP Lokeshwar. The film’s teaser was also launched to befit the occasion of Meghana’s birthday.

Music composer Keerthan who is debuting with this movie said he has gone with the vision of the director. He said there are five songs and a rhythm bit in the movie. He said he was given full freedom to give music without getting bogged down by any genre.

Producer B S Vani said she wanted to launch her daughter in the next movie but the director told her that her daughter Meghana was suitable for the role. She said she ventured into film production with a dream to make a good Kannada film.

The producer said the film was shaping up well and that they had waited for a long time.

She appreciated Kishore’s humility and Krishi’s co-operation in the making of the film. Vani said the film has about 20 days of shoot left and hoped that it will be released in May or June after having an audio launch in April.

Kishore said the film is about a director and his life story. He said the film is a journey of an assistant director who goes on to become a director and the people he meets besides the relationships she shares. The film he said throws light on patriotism in different perspectives.

Krishi Thapanda who is seen in a lip lock scene with Kishore in the movie said she had five different shades to her role. She said she had a bold character to play and could be seen in all genres. She said this role was experimental to her and praised the uniqueness of the script.

Meghana Vaani said she plays a matured girl in the movie who nurses feelings. She said it was a good experience to act in her first movie.

Dashavara Chandru said the film has been shot in Bengaluru, Shivamogga and Thorangallu. He said director Ziaullah Khan could not make it to the meet because of his indisposition.
