t is rather easy to kill an honest and an upright deputy commissioner. It’s a bit difficult to track down the culprits because they enjoy the support of top police brass. An inspector investigates the case and identifies the criminal. Arjun comes from a poor family and rises up to become the deputy commissioner who helps people. Nobody can question his honesty, simplicity and integrity. Arjun uses his authority to help people so much so that he loses his life. There’s an inquiry that is being tried to scuttle by the higher authorities. Inspector Abhi succeeds in getting to the bottom.

annada cinema’s popular villain late Vajramuni did not want his three sons to enter cinema due to financial woes that the family faced after producing a film. But, that didn’t deter the popular villain’s grand nephew Arasu Vajramuni from trying his luck in cinema and in following his grand uncle’s footsteps. Arasu Vajramuni is acting as a villain in Onti which is his third film. He is also working in two other Kannada films Parthasarathi and Raghuveera that are under production.

NAAGARAHAAVU TEAM SPONSORS SPORTS MEET, NEW APP RELEASED

he Naagarahaavu team led by its producer Sajid Qureshi inaugurated the two-day 9th Annual School Olympic Meet at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday. The film team is also sponsoring the annual event which is organized by Youngsters Sports Club. International athlete Ashwini Nachappa, former ACP Lokeshwar besides sportspersons Bindu Rani, Poonam Belliappa and Kabaddi player Ramesh participated in the inaugural function. The sports event is being attended and competed by 2,000 students from 80 schools and 20 colleges between the age group of 10-18 years in four categories.

ONTI’ LAUNCHED

new Kannada film Onti mounted the sets at the Doddaganapathi Temple in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru under the banner Sairam Creations with Sri who directed Orata I Love You and Ee Sanje making his third film. The film stars Arya who is also the producer of the movie and Meghana Raj in lead roles. The film also stars Devaraj, Girija Lokesh, Sharath Lohitaswa, Karisubbu, Maja Talkies Pawan, Neenasam Aswath, Arasu Vajramuni and Sushmita among others.

JOHN JOHNNY JANARDHAN  COMPLETES SHOOT

ohn Johnny Janardhan, a Kannada multi-starrer film has completed its shoot in quick time since it started in May 2016. The film stars Krishna Ajai Rao, Loose Maada Yogi and Madarangi Krishna in lead roles. Malashri is making a special appearance in the movie and Kamna Ranawat is the heroine of the movie. The film is produced by Padmanabha, Girish and Shashi Kiran and directed by Guru Deshpande. Director Guru Deshpande told reporters that John Johnny Janardhan is a big film with senior artistes and that it was challenging to cast three heroes together.

SHIVAMANI BACK AS AN ACTOR IN NEW FILM ON N KARNATAKA UNDERWORLD

irector Shivamani is back in action as an actor with a new film titled Bhugata Putagalalli that is being directed by Ravi Srivatsa. The film revolves around the underworld of North Karnataka. According to Shivamani, the film is focused on family issues, court cases and political pressures that make it a different kind of potboiler content-wise. He said the film has done away with regular hero and heroine format. Shivamani is playing the role of Maheshappa Sahukara, the protagonist in the movie who belongs to one of the two gangs that is portrayed as positive.The shoot for the film has begun in North Karnataka.

ajinikanth starrer Kabali which is releasing today, Friday (July 22, 2016) has created an unprecedented craze among the cine-goers. The Thalaivaa is all over the place be it in SIM card packs or the aircraft. The love for the superstar goes beyond just buying a ticket to see the movie first day first show. Kabali is being released in about 10,000 centres all over the world. Malaysians have already watched the movie and reviewers have given a four star rating to the film.
